About the designer
Toree is a classically trained artist that attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Through years of study and cultivating her craft, her mediums evolved from drawing, painting and sculpture and have culminated in her true love, clothing and jewelry design, which she began doing for herself and then eager friends and family in 2010. Toree fuses her affinity for creation and knowledge of form with a reverence for the animal kingdom that traces back to a childhood filled with rescuing and rehabilitating of animals. Toree also worked as an exotic animal handler, forging special bonds with the animals that now inspire her creations and permeate through every stage of her work. She collects naturally shed materials (porcupine quills, snake sheds, feathers, hair, etc) and brings to the market one-of-a-kind wearable art that is both animal sensitive and sustainable, while leaving nothing to be desired.
